The G.A.M.E.R. App (“App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Notice explains what information may be collected, how it is used, and how you can control your data when using the App.
The G.A.M.E.R. App is designed to help users set goals, track habits, and monitor personal progress through a gamified productivity system.
1. Information We Collect
The App collects only the information necessary to provide its functionality.
Account Information
When you create an account, the App may collect:

Authentication credentials used to sign in
This information is used solely to create and maintain your account and allow you to securely access your data.
User-Generated Content
All user-generated content is stored locally on the user’s device, or within the user’s iCloud account if they choose to activate iCloud sync. The App stores information you choose to create or enter, including:

Goals

Habits
-
Tasks

Quests

Progress tracking

Experience points (XP) and level data

Notes or reflections
This information is used to provide the core features of the App.
2. Optional Features Requiring User Permission
Some App features require your permission before they are enabled.
Push Notifications (Optional)
The App may request permission to send push notifications to your device.
Notifications may include:

Habit reminders

Quest updates

Progress notifications
You can:

Allow notifications

Decline notifications

Disable notifications at any time through your device settings
Notifications are used only to support the functionality of the App and are not used for advertising or marketing purposes.
iCloud Synchronization (Optional)
The App may offer the option to enable iCloud synchronization so your data can sync across your Apple devices.
If you enable iCloud sync:

Your data is stored in your personal Apple iCloud account

Synchronization is managed through Apple’s iCloud services

The App does not access your Apple ID credentials
You may disable iCloud synchronization at any time in your device or app settings.
If iCloud sync is not enabled, your data is stored locally on your device or within the App’s secure infrastructure used solely to operate the service.
3. How Your Information Is Used
Your information is used only for the following purposes:

Creating and maintaining your account

Storing and displaying your goals, tasks, and progress

Enabling app functionality (See note about optional AI-assisted features below)

Synchronizing your data across devices if enabled

Improving the reliability and performance of the App
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.
AI-Assisted Features
G.A.M.E.R. includes two optional AI-assisted features.
Quest Wizard: When a user chooses to use the Quest Wizard and taps generate, the app may send the goal text entered by the user, the selected category, the selected difficulty, the selected timeline, and an optional reward idea entered by the user.
Inspiration Wizard: When a user chooses to use the Inspiration Wizard and taps generate, the app may send limited quest and habit information created by the user, including quest titles and categories, and habit titles and frequencies.
These AI features are opt-in only. AI is used only when the user deliberately opens one of these tools and requests generated content.
The following information is not sent to AI as part of normal app use: username, password, or email address; evidence entries; journal notes; progress notes; XP, badges, levels, or Momentum scores; habit streak counts or check-in history; daily action completions; and personal reflections or other typed notes outside the AI feature inputs.
Simply using the app day to day—such as logging habits, checking off tasks, tracking progress, or writing notes—does not send that information to AI.
Requests made through these optional AI features may be routed through Replit’s AI infrastructure and then processed by OpenAI in order to generate the requested response.
AI-generated responses are provided for general informational, motivational, and organizational purposes only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not appropriate for every situation, and they do not constitute medical, mental health, therapeutic, legal, or financial advice.
Users should avoid entering sensitive personal information into AI prompt fields.
4. Data Ownership and User Control
You maintain control of the information you create in the G.A.M.E.R. App.
You can:

Edit your goals, tasks, and other entries

Delete individual items
-
Clear your activity data
-
Delete your account
These actions can be performed within the App at any time.
5. Data Deletion
Users can remove their data in multiple ways.
Deleting Data Within the App
Users may delete:

Tasks
-
Habits
-
Goals
-
Quests
-
Notes
-
Account information
through the App’s settings or editing tools.
Deleting the App
If the App is deleted from your device:

Data stored locally on the device will be removed.

If iCloud synchronization is enabled, data stored in iCloud may remain until removed through your iCloud settings.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect user information.
These may include:

Secure authentication

Encrypted network connections

Secure storage practices
No system can guarantee absolute security, but we strive to protect your information using appropriate safeguards.
7. Children’s Privacy
The G.A.M.E.R. App is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If such information is discovered, it will be removed.
8. Third-Party Services
The App may use trusted third-party services necessary to operate the platform, such as:

Apple iCloud (if enabled by the user)

Secure hosting infrastructure

These services are used only to provide and maintain the App’s functionality.
9. Changes to This Privacy Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time.
If changes are made, the updated version will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
